Feature films, short films, and documentaries. All genres. We review each submission individually — this isn't an open catalog. If your film isn't a fit for our current platform partners, we'll tell you directly rather than leaving you in limbo.
Go to distribution.thericardgroup.com/submit. Fill out the form, upload your assets or provide links, and choose a plan. Free submissions (Submit plan) process immediately. Paid plans (Distribute, Partner) go through Stripe checkout before the submission is logged.

Your submission enters our review queue. You'll receive a confirmation email. We move your film through six named stages — Submitted → Under Review → Screening → Offer Extended → Live → Not a Fit — and you can see exactly which stage it's in from your dashboard at any time. We don't leave you guessing.
We target 72 hours for initial review. If your film moves to Screening, the timeline depends on platform schedules. You'll see updates in your dashboard as they happen — you don't need to email us to find out where things stand.
No, and we won't tell you it will be. Every submission is reviewed individually. Films that don't meet technical standards or aren't a fit for our current platform partners are declined. We send a reason when we decline — not a form rejection.

That's how we cover the cost of managing the platform relationship, handling delivery, and running the dashboard. You pay nothing upfront. If your film earns, we earn a portion. If it doesn't earn, you've paid nothing.
Because you're paying $0 upfront. The annual fee on Distribute ($149/yr) and Partner ($299/yr) covers our operating costs regardless of what your film earns. With Submit, we recover those costs through revenue instead — 30% compared to 20% on Distribute. If your film earns nothing, you pay nothing. That's the tradeoff: free entry in exchange for a slightly higher share of earnings.
Distribute and Partner plans include a scheduled release date. You select a preferred date at submission, we confirm it during review, and your dashboard shows the confirmed go-live date. This lets you coordinate press and marketing around your launch. The Submit plan does not include this feature.
For context: Filmhub charges $599/quarter ($2,396/year) for this same scheduling feature on their Pro tier.
Not currently. Annual plans only. Monthly and quarterly billing options are planned for a future update.
Yes. Contact us directly at info@thericardgroup.com — we'll handle the plan change and prorate accordingly.
Distribution & Platforms
Currently: Vanta Black TV (powered by Uscreen). We're adding platforms over time — new partnerships are announced as they're confirmed. Your dashboard shows every platform your film has been delivered to and its current status.
No. No legitimate aggregator does. We submit your film to eligible platforms and make the case for it. The platform makes the final call. We tell you the outcome — accepted or declined — and include a reason when we get one.
No. We get your approval before submitting to any platform. You'll know exactly where your film is being submitted and when.
Video: MP4, MOV, or AVI (high resolution). Subtitles: SRT or VTT (under 3MB). The full spec — including exact thumbnail dimensions and promo requirements per platform — is listed on the submission form.
No. TRG operates on a non-exclusive basis. You can distribute your film elsewhere simultaneously. We only manage the specific platforms we've agreed to handle for you.
Pipeline & Tracking
Log in to your dashboard at distribution.thericardgroup.com. Every submission shows its current pipeline stage by name. No guessing, no waiting for an email to find out something changed.
Submitted → Under Review → Screening → Offer Extended → Live → Not a Fit.
Each stage has a plain-English meaning. When your film moves, you receive a notification with an explanation of what the stage means and what happens next.
Email info@thericardgroup.com. There's no support ticket queue. You get a real person on our team. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
Revenue & Payments
Platforms pay TRG for views, streams, or transactions. TRG keeps its share (30% on Submit, 20% on Distribute, 15% on Partner) and pays you the rest. Earnings are tracked in your dashboard — you can see what each platform paid and what your cut is.
We pay out earned balances monthly, once platforms have remitted to us. Platform payment timelines vary — typically 30–90 days after the end of a reporting period. Your dashboard shows pending and paid amounts.
Yes. Your earnings dashboard shows total earned, pending payout, and a breakdown by platform and payment period. When new earnings are logged, your dashboard reflects them.
We chase it. And we tell you when there's a delay rather than going silent. You'll see the pending status in your dashboard — the payment timeline is visible, not hidden.
Account Management
Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account moves to inactive status. Films already live on platforms remain live until you request removal or your distribution agreement expires.
Yes. Give us 30 days written notice and we'll request removal from each platform your film is live on. Platform-side removal timelines vary — typically 30–90 days — but we initiate the request and confirm completion.
Any pending earnings owed to you are paid out within 60 days of account closure, after platforms have remitted to us. We don't hold your money.
Trust & Rights
Distribber closed in 2019 without notice. Films stayed on platforms generating revenue filmmakers couldn't collect. Filmmakers had no direct platform relationships, no records, and no recourse.
TRG is built with a different structure. You see every stage of your film's progress by name. You see your earnings in real time. We tell you every platform your film is on. You can terminate at any time and request removal. If TRG ever closes, your rights revert immediately and we're contractually obligated to help you transition. That's in our Terms (§10) — not just marketing language.
No. You retain full ownership. We hold a limited, non-exclusive license to deliver and distribute your film on the platforms we manage for you. That license ends when your agreement with us ends.
No. Non-exclusive only. You can continue to distribute your film on any platform TRG isn't managing for you — simultaneously.
Your dashboard lists every platform we've delivered your film to and its current status (delivered, under review, live, or declined). You're never in the dark.
We tell you. We give you the reason if the platform provided one. Declined films stay in your dashboard — you can resubmit if circumstances change (updated cut, new platform added to TRG's network, etc.).
Your content rights revert to you immediately. We will notify platforms and request content removal within 60 days of ceasing operations. You'll receive your full earnings history and submission records as a data export. This is contractually defined in our Terms (§10 — Platform Stranding Protections).
